Fifth Graders Devise Their Own Machines
Instruction in simple machinery is intensely practical in Mrs. Alfred Dahrsnin's fifth grade at Bourne Grammar School. Members of the class made their own devices to illustrate mechanical problems.
Bonnie Lewis holds a pulley and Geoffrey Roche made a wheel and axle.
Dennis Robbins and Walter Harding combined to make the elaborate crane.
