Bourne Art Student Takes Museum Course
Miss Andrea Muir of Sagamore is among the high school students from all New England who have been awarded free tuition in a survey course in art at the studios of the Boston Museum School.
She represents Bourne High school, and Mrs. Irene Walker is her art teacher.
For seven Saturday afternoons about 300 selected high school artists are having introductory talks and demonstrations in each of the fields of commercial art and design, drawing and graphic arts, painting, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry and silversmithing and teacher training.
On the last day, April 15, a museum trip and convocation with presentation of certificates and a garden court reception are scheduled at the Museum of Fine Arts, and parents and parents and teachers are invited to attend.
