First Baptist church of Pocasset was the setting Saturday for the wedding of Miss Eleanor Mae Wright, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William S. Wright of Pocasset to Lester Earle Brander, son of Albert Brander of Attleboro and the late Mrs. Brander.
The church was decorated with white gladioli, snapdragons and baby's breath as the Rev. F. F. Peterson conducted the service.
Mrs. C. L. Thackston was soloist and Mrs. Elwood F. Wing played the organ.
Wearing a floor length gown of lace and net over satin, Its neckline etched In pearls and sequins, the bride had a shoulder length veil, elbow lace mitts and white roses on her white Rainbow Girl Bible.
Matron of honor was Mrs. Lawrence Ellis of Wollaston, in a mint green gown with off the shoulder neckline, fitted bodice and ballerina length skirt, matching hat and bouquet of yellow roses.
Miss Marcia Wright was bridesmaid in a coral gown of matching style, and Susan Neilsen, a niece of the bride, was dressed in light blue nylon as flower girl.
William S. Wright Jr. was best man for Mr. Brander; ushers were John Wright and Gerald Willey, both of Pocasset.
The bride's mother chose a dress of navy blue with pink accessories and orchid corsage.
The Wright home on Barlows Landing Road was decorated with bouquets In pastel shades for the reception which followed the ceremony.
Wedding and reception guests were from Arlington, VA, Providence and East Providence, Dorchester, Weymouth, Attleboro, Rehoboth, Boston and West Medford.
Mr. and Mrs. Brander will make their home in Rehoboth when they return September 27 from a wedding trip to Florida.
The bridegroom was graduated from Attleboro schools, and is a wholesale route salesman for H. P. Hood & Sons at East Bridgewater.
Mrs. Brander, a 1954 graduate of Bourne High School, is employed at the Hood plant in North Falmouth.
