College Interviews For Five Seniors
Susan Bradley, Joyce Kennerly, Albia Hiltwein, Donald Fougere and Robert White, seniors at Bourne High School, drove to the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, and Mt. Holyoke College in South Hadley last Wednesday to be interviewed as prospective college students.
The seven seniors took their college board examinations last Saturday at Tabor Academy and another group will take them on March 17.
According to Walter J. Stahura, high school principal, more schools than ever before are requiring them as entrance examinations. Junior colleges are raising their entrance qualifications and all colleges are screening candidates carefully because of the unusually large number of high school students desiring higher education.
