Singers, Music Chosen For Festival Concert
Eighty Bourne High school singers have been chosen to sing in the annual Boston Christmas Festival on Boston Common from 3 to 3:30 Sunday afternoon, Dec. 18.
The Bourne Junior-Senior chorus will perform under direction of Carlton Thorne with Richard Ormerod at the organ.
This is the third Christmas season in which the Bourne High Choral Group has been invited to sing in the holiday festival at Boston in a chapel in the Common. The singers will have supper on the return trip.
Numbers to be sung Include "O Come All Ye Faithful", "Break Forth O Beauteous Heavenly Light", "O Come, O Come Emmanuel", "Joy to the World", "I Wonder as I Wander", "Ukrainian Carol of the Bells", "Praise Ye the Lord" and "Birthday of a King".
