Miss Gale Selig Is Candidate For Queen's Court
Miss Gale Selig,19, of Buzzards Bay is the first Bourne entry in the contest for selection of the Court of Miss Cranberry Highway for 1962.
Miss Selig was chosen Miss Bourne in a Chamber of Commerce function two years ago and still reigns.
Miss Selig, a blue eyed, brown haired young lady is five feet, one inch tall, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Parker K. Selig of Buzzards Bay, a senior at Bourne High School, and hopes some day to be an airplane hostess. She works part of her busy day at Jay's Drug Store in Buzzards Bay.
The Court of Miss Cranberry Highway now is Miss Maureen Fitzsimmons of Middleboro, will be chosen at a public Salute to the Massachusetts Maritime Academy this evening.
