Plans Autumn Wedding
Mr. and Mrs. Preston L. Cushing of Chatham have announced the engagement of their daughter, Miss Janet Elizabeth Cushing to Russell H. Taft of San Mateo, CA.
An October wedding is planned.
Miss Cushing, a resident of Mountain View, CA, is a graduate of Bourne High School and of Colby Junior College in New London, N. H. She is employed as a secretary with Lockheed Aircraft Corporation, Sunnyvale, CA.
Her fiance is the son of Robert Taft of Brooklyn, N. Y. and is employed as a research engineer at Lockheed Missiles and Space Company. He is a graduate of Cornell University and is a member of Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity. Presently he is studying for his Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering at San Jose State College.
