St. Peter's Fellowship Elects Officers
Election of Officers was held at the meeting of the Young People's Fellowship of St. Peter's Church in Buzzards Bay.
The slate of Officers presented by Stanley Jacobs, Ella Eldredge, Cynthia Grist, and Louis Selig of the Nominating Committee was unanimously elected.
Robert Fagan installed the following Officers:
President, Louis Wright
Vice President, John Littlewood
Secretary, Faith Johnson
Treasurer, Nancy Davis
Worship, Dorothy Freeman and Stanley Jacobs
Study, Virginia Fuller
Recreation, Diane Lindsey and Louis Selig
Delegates were appointed for the Conference of the Episcopal Young Churchman which will be held at the Church of St. John The Evangelist in Hingham.
The group will participate in an evening of bowling this week.
Refreshments were served by Diane Lindsey, Paul Girard and Philip Jacobs.
The Young People's Fellowship of St. Peter's Church concluded Initiation Week with a trip to the Blue Hills in Milton.
New members initiated into the group were Susan Greeley, Sandra Altweln, Linda Haskell, Sue Spavin, Cynthia Grist, Vivian Coville, Sandra Semeinski, Philip Jacobs, Paul Girard, and Donald Crosby.
Initiation week was in charge of Louis Wright and Lennie Moore.
A sunset service was conducted at Blue Hills with Faith Luttman-Johnson and Dorothy Freeman in charge. Transportation was provided by the advisers Miss Cecily Grist, Mrs. Ted Wing, and Mrs. Leonard Winberg.
The Junior Fellowship of St. Peter's church opened the weekly meeting with a worship service led by Pamela Young, Barbara Jacobs, and Sharon Dill. The following officers were elected:
President, Leonard Winberg Jr.
Vice President, Jean Hill
Secretary, Larry Weston
Treasurer, Bruce Selig
Worship, Barbara Jacobs and Pamela Young
Hospitality: Joan Hill
They were installed by John Littlewood and Miss Cecily Grist.
Charades were played during the evening. Refreshments and a Good Night Circle completed the evening. Transportation was provided by Advisors Miss Cecily Grist, and Mrs. Leonard Winberg.
