Walt Stahura Jr. Harvard Grid Star to be Feted by the Kiwanis Club

Kiwanis to Fete Walt Stahura Jr. Harvard Grid Star
Walter J. Stahura Jr., three year varsity halfback for Harvard University, will be honored by a testimonial dinner Wednesday night sponsored by the Bourne Kiwanis Club. Plans for the occasion include dinner at the Peebles Elementary School at 6:30, and color movies of Harvard games in which Stahura played.
The Harvard senior was named by Associated Press to its all Ivy League team for 1957, and was a principal reason for the gameness and relative success of a Can tab team hindered all season by bad luck in the injury department.
Musch G. Kayajan, in charge of the event, states that it will be open to men, women, and interested youth. Other club members are invited. Tickets, limited to 300, went on sale Tuesday by Kiwanis Club members.
