Indoctrination on the Range
Stewart Ahman and Richard Augusyniak, both freshmen at Bourne High School, were introduced to proper conduct with firearms on the rifle range in the Community Building Wednesday night.
It was the first outing for both young men. They are being instructed by Sam Soares, range instructor for Aptucxet Junior Rifle Club, and Howard Sigler, senior advisor for the club. Mr. Sigler has served as advisor for the club since its inception in 1946.
Sam, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Enrico Soares of Sagamore, was awarded the Laurence Jack Memorial Trophy last Wednesday for high score.
