Accident Reported by Bourne Police
Two persons suffered minor injuries last Sunday afternoon at the Camp Edwards Rotary on Route 28 as a car ran head-on into a utility pole.
The operator of the vehicle, Blanche E. Stoddard of Buzzards Bay, received cuts on the head and knee, according to Bourne police.
Willie T. Petty, 19, of Otis Air Force base, a passenger, received cuts on the nose and knees. Both were treated at the Otis hospital.
According to the police Miss Stoddard said she lost control of her car when it skidded on sand.
The vehicle is owned by Violet W. Stoddard.
Investigating the accident was Patrolman James R. McMahon.
