Blanche Stoddard Guest at Bridal Shower

Miss Stoddard Guest of Honor at Bridal Shower
Miss Blanche Stoddard was guest of honor at a surprise bridal shower held at the home of her sister, Mrs. James O'Neil on County Road, Monument Beach.
The living room was centered with a large wedding bell from which pink and white streamers were draped to the corners of the room. An umbrella with pink and white decorations was suspended over the seat-of-honor. Similar decorations were over the buffet luncheon table which was centered by two beautifully decorated cakes.
Guests present included the mother of the bride to be, Mrs. Arthur B. Stoddard and sister, Mrs. Thomas Greene and Mrs. Roberta Drinkwater of Allston, Mrs. Robert Shurtleff, Mrs. Bryce Meyers, Mrs. Roy Cahoon, Mrs. James Earle, all of Sandwich, and the Misses Betsy Paine, Dotty Gibbons, and Lois Jackson of Buzzards Bay and Miss Mary Jane Tripp of Bourne. The marriage of Miss Stoddard to Airman lst class Jerry Bradford Lewis stationed at Otis Air Force Base will take place in the Bourne Methodist Church on Saturday, June 1 at 1 P. M.
