Two New Teachers Elected, Two Resign As Board Meets
Two new teachers were elected and the resignations of two were accepted at the Bourne School Committee meeting at the James F. Peebles Elementary School on Monday night.
New teachers, who will start in September, are Miss June Reynolds of Buzzards Bay, now a senior at the University of Massachusetts, and Miss Myra Peck of the University of Connecticut School of Education.
Resignations were accepted with regret from Robert Kime, shop and mechanical drawing instructor at the Bourne High school, and Thomas, McCandless, 6th grade instructor at the Sagamore Grammar school.
