Big Cast Rehearsing For Senior Class Play
The cast for this year's Bourne High school senior play was selected this past week by Miss Lucy Mitchell, play director and school librarian.
"Take Care of My Little Girl" is the name of the comedy and the graduating students given parts are Elizabeth, Elaine Colgan; Becky, Barbara Girard; Adelaide, Sandra Prete; Merry, Paula Hadley; Marge, Carolyn Sanborn; Dallas, Meredith Meyers; Casey, Lynda Mason; Mother Apple, Christine Coppi; Mrs. Bellows, Jeanne MacDonald; Joe, Jim Kelly; Chad. Shad Hayes; Sam, Sam Greene; Thelma . Nancy Cabisius; Alice, Beverly Harris; Grace, Jerry Baisden; Marie. Virginia Dechene; Justine, Beverly, Bennett; Polly, Donna Rawson; Marilyn, Liz Long; June, Paula Bowers; an express man. Danny Briggs.
Patricia Townsend was chosen by Miss Mitchell as the student director.
The play itself was chosen in the latter half of September by a small group of Bourne High seniors; Carolyn Sanborn, Susan Pierce, Patricia Townsend. Paula Hadley, and Jerry Baisden.
"Take Care of My Little Girl" Is dramatized by Anne Coulter Martens from the book by Peggy Goodwin.
Steady rehearsals are now in full swing with three or four meetings a week, but an exact date for the play's performance has not been set.
According to Miss Mitchell it will be during the month of November.
