Word Is Now Next Month For New School
December 15 is anticipated completion date for the classroom wings of the new Bourne High School. Heat Is now on and contractors are working on such final touches as terrazo floors and ceiling tile. Laboratory and homemaking equipment is being installed. Only non-arrival of major steel beams holds up the gymnasium wing. The beams are now promised for November 15.
Expectation is that the high school grades will occupy the new building at the end of Christmas vacation. At the same time the seventh and eighth grades will move from Bourne Grammar and Sagamore Grammar school to form a new junior high ln the present high school building. Intermediate grades will then be shifted to the Bourne Grammar school.
