Sagamore Couple Win Sports Car Rally
The annual meeting of Cape Cod Sports Car Club was held Sunday afternoon with 24 members and guests present at Tose's Italian restaurant in Dennis, which was the destination of that rally.
First place winners of the rally were Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Trench Jr.
Second place was taken by Mr. and Mrs. David Chute of Osterville and third place by Roy L. Spring Jr. with Miss Amy Manillo of Pawtucket. The course was planned by Richard Thompson.
A recent all night rally covering 230 miles which went to the northwestern part of the state and around the base of Mount Watchusett was won by Roy Spring Jr. with Edwin Trench Jr. as navigator.
