Grange Members Become Hobos for an Evening
A hobo convention was theme of the pot luck supper and dance held by the Grange last Thursday evening.
Prizes for outstanding costumes went to Walter and Gladys Hammond, Russell Selig, Mrs. Herbert Jenkins, Sumner Small, Paul Lindsey, Mrs. Harold Czarnetzki, Richard Carlson and Jack Enright.
The fireplace in the lobby of the community building was a campfire around which the hobos gathered after the business meeting. Sumner Small, Lloyd Leonard and Martha Gibbs distinguished themselves in a liar's contest. Games of hobos pack their kits and hobos share the spoils caused great hilarity, followed by an impromptu skit and a song fest.
