Judith Kelley Among 50 Chosen For U. N. Seminar
Miss Judith Kelley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. Kelley of Scraggy Neck Road, Cataumet, has been selected to represent the New England Southern Conference of the Methodist Church at the United Nations Washington Seminar, Feb. 22 through 27.
The seminar, an annual program of the church and draws delegates from among Methodist youth all over the country.
Miss Kelley, a senior at Bourne High School is Senior Editor of Canal Currents, Treasurer of the senior class, member of the National Honor Society, of the Cheerleading Squad, and of the chorus and orchestra, and has a lead role in the Senior Class Play. She was recently presented the Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizenship Award.
She is a member of Bourne Methodist church and is active in the parish Methodist Youth Fellowship program. During, the past year Miss Kelley has served as chairman of the committee on citizenship in the New Bedford district Methodist Youth Council.
