Bound for Legion Boys State

Michael Habib and Daniel Kemp have been selected by General Leonard Wood Post, American Legion to attend Boys State, which will be at the University of Massachusetts during the week June 17 to 25.

Michael Habib, son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Habib, will enter his senior year at Fryeburg academy at Fryeburg, ME in September.

He is an outstanding history student at that school, manager of the football team, a member of the Latin club and on the tennis team. He will work in Jay Dee's during the summer. Michael is being sponsored for the week by the American Legion, Major Leonard Wood Post of Bourne.

Daniel Kemp, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Kemp, will next year be a senior at Bourne High School where he is taking the college course. He is very Interested in political science, has been a member of the student council for two years and was Bourne representative to Cape Cod Student Council. He is range officer for the Aptucxet Rifle club and a member of the CYO. He enjoys sailing and motor boats but his major sport interest is water skiing.
