Lois M. Philbrick Becomes Bride of Donald Atkinson

Miss Lois May Philbrick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Philbrick of Sagamore, was married Sunday at 4 P.M. to Donald Alfred Atkinson, son of Austin Atkinson of Falmouth Heights and the late Mrs. Atkinson.

The Rev. Wesley Vesey, pastor, performed the ceremony in Swift Memorial Methodist Church, which was decorated with baskets of white mixed bows on the pews. Mrs. Arnold Swift played wedding music.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of white lace over satin and a chapel-length train. Pearls lined the edge of the scoop neckline. A fingertip veil fell from a lace hat adorned with pearls and sequins. The bride carried an all white colonial bouquet and wore pearls given her by the bridegroom .

Mrs. Sandra Gorum of Sagamore was matron of honor. Miss Jane Philbrick, also of Sagamore, was bridesmaid.

Beth Wilson was flower girl and wore a yellow nylon dress. David Cunningham was ring bearer. Miss Claire Pippin, Soloist, sang Because and The Lord's Prayer.
