Virginia Peebles will Enter the Barnstable County Fair

4-H Club Members Rush to Deadline for County Fair
Apollo is the ten month old Cheviot lamb that Virginia Peebles of Bourne expects to enter at the Barnstable County Fair from July 20-29 and probably take to the Eastern States Exposition in Springfield.
The attractive 14 year old girl is the daughter of Mrs. Meade Peebles of County Road. Her support of 4-H work includes membership in the conservation, horse, garden and animal husbandry clubs. Virginia had to lasso her prize lamb for the picture and suffered rope burns from the playful animal. Her collie was more than anxious to find a corner in the picture.
Virginia has sheep showmanship ribbons from last year's County day.
