Alice T. Rigazio Engaged to Barry Girard Of Navy, both BHS graduates class of 1958

Mr. and Mrs. Mario Rigazio of Sagamore have announced the engagement of their daughter, Miss Alice T. Rigazio to Barry Louis Girard, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Girard of Puritan Road. Buzzards Bay.

Miss Rigazio was graduated in 1958 from Bourne High School where she played four years on the girls basket ball team and was active on class committees. She is now employed in the Sagamore Telephone Exchange.

Her fiance entered the Navy following his graduation from Bourne High School, also with the class of '58. While in high school he played on the baseball, basketball and football teams, being Co-Captain of the football in his senior year. He is now a Seaman First Class stationed at the Navy Radio Station at Washington, D. C. working for the Naval Aide to the President under the Press Secretary to the President, James Haggerty.

He played basketball center for the Navy team in Washington and his team came in second for the district in Washington in this winter's tournament.
