Doreen McArdle To Wed Veteran of Korean War
Mrs. Irene McArdle of Pocasset has announced the engagement of her daughter, Miss Doreen Ann McArdle to Sgt. Robert F. Smalley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Francis L. Smalley of Buzzards Bay. The bride-elect Is daughter of the late Andrew P, McArdle, once a state commander of the American Legion. She was graduated from Bourne High School in 1952.
Sgt. Smalley was graduated from Bourne High School in 1950. He served with the 73d Tank Battalion and returned recently from combat duty in Korea.
