Classmates Elect Neil Minihan to House Committee
Harvard University has announced that Cornelius J. Minihan of Bourne has been elected by the members of the Class of 1963 at Harvard as the sophomore representative to the Quincy House Committee.
The house Committee, made up of the elected heads of each class, is the chief student government body in Harvard's house system. There are eight house committees, one for each of Harvard's houses where students live during their last three years of study.
Recently named to the dean's list for his first year of study at Harvard, Neil is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius Minihan of Bourne. He is a Procter and Gamble scholar at Harvard and was president and the valedictorian of his 1959 class in Bourne High School before going to Harvard. He is a candidate for the degree with honors in the honors field of concentration, history and science.
