BEVERLY GWEN HARRIS, one of the two seniors of Bourne High School to be commended for her high performance in the National Merit Scholarship qualifying test, is the daughter of Major and Mrs. Charles Harris. She was born at San Angel, Texas on Oct. 19, 1945, and has attended Bourne schools for seven years. She is president of the National Honor Society, vice-president of the French Club, a member of Code Club, associate editor of Canal Currents, and an active member of the Athletic Association. Beverly plans to become a medical technician. She hopes to attend Texas Christian College in Abilene, Texas.
