To Continue Her Studies
Miss Elva Butland, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Butland of Old Plymouth Road, Sagamore, is a member of a class graduated from the Nurses Training School of New England Deaconess Hospital at exercises conducted in John Hancock Hall, Boston on Monday, May 13.
The commencement ceremony was followed by a reception in the Dorothy Quincy Suite.
Miss Butland Is a graduate of Bourne High School, class of 1954.
She plans to continue her studies for a degree of Bachelor of Science at Boston University School of Nursing in the fall.
Besides Mjss Butland's parents and her brother Dale, in attendance at the commencement exercises were Mrs. Charles Godfrey and daughter Gayle of Lancaster, N.B., and Mr. and Mrs. Garfield Stymiest, Miss Constance Pope, and Mrs. Henry Gagner and son Ward, all of Sagamore.
