Miss Charlotte George Becomes Bride of H. E. Hawkins of The Coast Guard
Miss Charlotte Ruth George, daughter of Mrs. Alfred George of Sandwich Heights and the late Mr. George, became the bride of Haskell Earl Hawkins during a marriage ceremony Saturday at the Swift Memorial Methodist Church in Sagamore.
The new Mrs. Hawkins was brought up in Sagamore, graduated from Bourne High School in 1958 and is employed at Forsythe Shoes at Sagamore.
Mr. Hawkins was graduated from Keowee High School in Seneca, and is serving in the Coast Guard as engineman 2c aboard the Yakutat at New Bedford. The couple will be at home on Dillingham Road, Sandwich, after Nov. 19.
