Miss Ruth Tucy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Tucy of Harrison Avenue, Buzzards Bay leaves Sunday for Boston where she will stay at the Hotel Vendome while she attends an airline stewardess training school for Northeast Airlines. Upon completion of this training school she will be presented with her wings and leave for New York City, which will be her home base.

Miss Tucy was selected this summer as Bourne Jubilee Queen. Her extra-curricular activities at Bourne High School Included cheerleading for three years, one year as member of the student council, yearbook staff and basketball.

She was graduated from the Bay State Academy in 1958. While there she was a member of the Newman Club, the Drama, Skiing and Spanish Clubs, was a hostess at a Herald-Traveler Cooking Show and took part in a large fashion show at the school at which Mrs. Furcoio was guest of honor. During the past year she has worked in the florist shop for Tucy Brothers.
