Completes Military Training
George L. Cardoza, son of Mr. and Mrs. Manuel J. Cardoza Sr. of Shore Road, Bourne, completed recruit training May 19 at the Naval Training Center, Great Lakes, ILL.
The nine week training includes instruction in such naval subjects as seamanship, ordinance and gunnery, damage control and military customs and courtesies.
A full-dress parade and review before military officials and civilian dignitaries marked the end of the training period.
