LIEUT. ROBERT E. WALLACE JR.

LIEUT. ROBERT E. WALLACE JR., son of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace of Puritan Road, Buzzards Bay is starting six weeks of advanced training as C-119 pilot at Randolph Air Force Base in Texas. He received his wings and lieutenant's bars in ceremonies at the Cherokee Strip Air Force base, Oklahoma after 15 months training.
A 1947 graduate of Bourne High School, he entered the Air Force that summer and served in Alaska and Arabia in Air Force rescue squadrons.
