Fred Mitchell $100 Scolarship from the Buzzards Bay Grange

Buzzards Bay Grange Meets
Buzzards Bay Grange observed Neighbors Night recently at their home on County Road. Among the guests were Allan C. Williams of Falmouth Grange, Pomona Master Leland Perry, Pocasset Master Katherine Wright and Cotuit Master Joseph Santos.
It was reported the supper to benefit the polio fund brought in $50. Fred Mitchell, a 1955 graduate of Bourne high school and a freshman at the University of Massachusetts where he is taking the agriculture course, has received a $100 scholarship. The secretary of the Grange was instructed to write to Henry Ford 2d in Dearborn, MI to report the Grange is in favor of rebuilding the Wayside Inn.
It was reported that Marie Cznarnetski is at Pocasset hospital and that Mrs. Edith Haskell has returned home from Tobey Hospital.
