Miss Manchester Marries Edward Cannon
Miss Janet Evelyn Manchester, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Fremont Manchester of Monument Beach, and Edward I. Cannon, son of Mrs. Edward J. Cannon and the late Mr. Cannon of Cataumet, were married Saturday afternoon, June 29 in the Bourne Methodist Church by the Rev. Orville E. Crain. The church was decorated with Shasta daisies and gladioli, carnations and double babies breath.
The bride was born in Acushnet and attended Bourne High School and Katharine Gibbs School in Boston, and has been employed as secretary to the business manager of the Gibbs school. The bridegroom was born in Woburn arid attended Bourne High school.
