Miss Manchester Engaged to Marry
Mr. and Mrs. Fremont J. Manchester of Shore Road in Monument Beach have announced the engagement of their daughter, Miss Janet Evelyn Manchester to Edward I. Cannon at a family party at their home.
The prospective bride was graduated from Bourne High School in the class of 1954. She is well known for her piano playing both in school and community affairs.
She was certified in June 1956 from the Katharine Glbbs School in Boston at the completion of a two year course. Since that time she has been secretary to the business manager of the Katharine Gibbs School. Her fiance, the son of Mrs. Edward J. Cannon and the late Mr. Cannon of Oak Avenue in Cataumet, attended Bourne High School and William and Mary College in Williamsburg, VA.
