Bourne High School Office Girls
Class of 1959
For each period of the day, a girl was chosen from study hall to assist Mr. Stahura, Mr. Graves, and the secretaries.
The "junior secretaries" learn office efficiency which is valuable experience to girls interested in secretarial work.
The office girls can be found at their desks in the outer office, delivering various messages around the school, cleaning out the supply closet, or getting valuable advice from Dorothy or Shirley. While Mr. Stahura and the secretaries lunch, one of the junior secretaries manages the entire office answering telephones and writing out messages.
