Miss Remick Wed To Sgt. Jackson
Miss Shirley I. Remick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred C. Remick of Buzzards Bay, was married to Sgt. Arnie Jackson, USAF, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Jackson, Green Island, Iowa, at a double ring ceremony Feb. 5 at the Congregational Church parsonage, Palmer Avenue, Falmouth.
The bride wore a light blue street length dress with a white carnation corsage for the evening service.
Maid of honor was Mrs. Audrey Remick, a sister-in-law of the bride. She wore a street length dress of pink and black with a pink camellia corsage.
Mrs. Remick, mother of the bride, wore a turquoise dress and a white hat. She carried yellow roses.
Best man was a brother of the bride, Fred T. Remick. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Ralph H. Long
Following the ceremony there was a reception at the Canal Sportsman's Club in Buzzards Bay. The club was decorated with white bells and streamers.
The bride attended Bourne High school and was graduated in 1955.
