Arvin Bourne Cagers Short Ended Twice By Wareham

Bourne lost to Wareham last Thursday 68-41 on the Bourne High School floor and again Tuesday night in Wareham, 87-45. The difference in the scoring of the two nights was sophomore forward center Cardoza for Wareham. The rangy youth scored 10 points in the first encounter and 25 Tuesday night.

Pictured in the Thursday game are Bourne players Dick Palomba, 6, Rodney Valentini, 12, Wayne Upton, 5, Arthur, 10, and Charles Weston, jumping center. Cardoza, 32, is paired with Valentini around the circle. Charles Weston copped scoring honors for Bourne Tuesday with 17 points. Dick Palomba was high Thursday with 15.
