August Wedding is Planned By Miss Lamken
The engagement of Miss Helen Frances Lamken to James M. Boles Jr. has been announced by Miss Lamken's father, John F. Lamken of Buttermilk Bay Shores.
Miss Lamken was graduated from Bourne High School in 1959. She was a drum majorette for three years and co-captain in her senior year. She was active In sports, participated in the senior play and was a member of the prom committee.
She is a cashier and hostess at the Howard Johnson's Restaurant in Bourne.
Mr. Boles, the son of Mr. and Mrs. James M. Boles Sr. of Sagamore, is a seaman 2nd Class in the Coast Guard Reserve. He trained at Groton, Conn., and Cape May, N.J. He was graduated from Bourne High School in 1958. He was a member of the Key Club, played baseball and was on the track team, was in the senior play and on the prom committee. He is employed with his father in Boles Plumbing and Heating, Sagamore.
The wedding will be Aug. 6 at St. Margaret's Church in Buzzards Bay. A reception will be at the Elks hall in East Wareham.
