BOURNE HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1904
Class of 1904
Bourne Pioneer, June 28, 1904
BOURNE HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1904
The graduating exercises of the Class of 1904, Bourne High School, was held in the M. E. Church on Thursday evening.
The church was prettily decorated with flowers and the class motto, "Carpe Diem" in green and white.
A very large audience was present.
The departure from a lecture by some noted speaker, which has been the custom for several years past, to the custom of the earlier years of our High School, the exercises by the graduates, was received with great favor by the community and was no doubt responsible for the overcrowded house.
The essays were all well written efforts and most commendably delivered.

Friday evening the class gave a most pleasing reception to their friends in the hall.

The readings by Mrs. H. B. Holmes of Brockton were very fine and enthusiastically received.
At the conclusion of the readings, refreshments were served after which dancing was indulged in until a late hour.
