Bourne High School
To the class of 1915 belong the honors of holding the first class day exercises ever given by the graduates from the Bourne High school, also of the first to extend to E. B. Nye Post, G. A. R. an invitation to attend their exercises, which was accepted, the veterans occupying front seats in the Town hall.
Another honor, won by their personal exertions, was the perfect manner in which each essay was delivered, no word of prompting being given from start to finish. Each was a of careful, on a well understood in a most interesting manner, calling forth much applause from the audience.
The college cap and gown lent a further distinction to this class.
The Class Day exercises were held on the lawn at the High school building on Wednesday afternoon. Quite a large number of the relatives and friends of the graduates and . those interested in the school were interested listeners to the following program:

On Thursday evening in Town hall occurred the graduating exercises before a very large audience with the following program:

Essay (with 3d honors), A Red Cross Nurse, Myrtle F. Butler
Choral Fantasia, School Chorus
Address, Rev. W. Irwin
Interlude, Orchestra
Essay, (with 2d honors), 'Just A Smile", Adelaide Leonard
Presentation of Diplomas, Supt. H. L. Whitman
Benediction, Rev . C. A. Stenhouse
Postlude, Orchestra
The class motto is "Res non verba," the class colors, blue, white and gold
