PAUL RICHARD NICKERSON, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold E. Nickerson of Aptucxet Road, Bourne, has received notice of his acceptance at the University of Maine.
Paul is a senior at Bourne High school where he is a member of the Honor Society, is associate editor of the Canal Currents yearbook, was in the cast of the Senior class play and a member of the baseball and golf teams.
He had his first two years of high school at Waterford High school, Waterford, N. Y., where he played on the baseball team.
He thoroughly enjoys the outdoors and besides his golf and basebail spends much time water and snow skiing, hunting and fishing. He plans to study to become an engineer.
