Enlisted and served on subs in nuclear power program, and as an instructor. Went back to college to become an R.N. and joined the Navy Reserve and still serving as an operating room nurse at the rank of LCDR. Did a tour in Afghanistan in 2014 at the trauma hospital in Kandahar.

I served in the army until 1997. have done several deployments and have done time in Iraq. I have been in the Alaska guard since 2002 and do that fulltime. I am now an instructor which I really enjoy. The units I have served with are the 101st Airborne and the 501st Airborne.
