About Me	After graduating, I worked the summer as a carpenters helper until I turned 18, then worked at Santa Fe as a machinist apprentice. I soon found that I did not want to be a diesel mechanic. Some friends were going to join the Air Force and did I want to join with them? Why not? One had acne and was disqualified the other too many tickets. I joined alone. I wanted to see the world. I saw Travis Air Force base CA. for four years as a crew chief of a B52 bomber full of nuclear weapons waiting for the cold war to turn hot. While at Travis, I meet my wife. She was working at McClellan AFB in Sacramento for the British Air Force and was a blind date. We were married in 1967. I was discharged in 1968 and took the test for a real estate license. I soon found out that I hated rejection. Next I tried computer programming, but was told I needed a collage degree. Back down to Fontana CA. worked nights and went to school under the GI bill. We had our first boy in 1970 and the second in 1972. After collage I went looking for a programming job and found I also needed experience (catch 22). I finally found a company to give me a job. In 1986 I started my own consulting company. In 1995 I started another company selling time capsules over the Internet. After 30 years of computers I found my slide rule was out of date, my phone no longer has a dial or a cord. I do not have to wind my watch or read a dictionary. I do not need a map, my GPS (along with my wife) will tell me where to go. We are retired in Clearwat...(read more)
