I moved to Texas and joined the Navy reserve as a Hospital Corspman.
I was assigned to the US Marine Corps as I Navy Hospital Corpsman ans spent some time with NMarine Recons Advanced Field Med School at Camp Lejeune, SC.

After return to the US, taught Russian at West Point, served in the J2 at USCENTCOM, was an intelligence officer for 10th ADA BDE in Germany, operations officer for an intelligence battalion at Ft. Hood, and G2 of the Joint Readiness Training Center. After retiring, joined the federal government as a civilian and served in both Iraq and Afghanistan.
