Mike Salisbury
Class of 1961
Mike was the first person to take a personal computer aboard a U.S.Navy aircraft carrier (1978). Mike worked for Hughes Aircraft Company at the time. The purpose was to perform calculations related to "drift runs" of the inertial navigation system on the F-14 aircraft. The story, with photo, was written up in the "Hughes News" in about May of 1979.
