About Me	Came to NYC in 1978 to become a Broadway star! After auditioning and working as a waitress, bartender, elf at Macy’s one Christmas and a myriad of other jobs, I worked as an administrative assistant at NYU and earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Theater. Drove cross-country with my partner, 2cats and a puppy and after a month, drove back and stayed in Evanston for 9 months. One last audition at Court Theatre of U of C while working as a word processor downtown, then left for the East Coast again. Been here since 1985. Became a special ed teacher in1992 (after several jobs). Retired in 2016 and took up piano, painting and volunteering...(read more)
