About Me	It's hard to believe; I'm a wife, mother, and grandmother now, and still in seemingly good health! God has been so good to me. 'No prescription meds; just vitamins, mostly whole foods, a cup of coffee in the AM, and occasional wine or beer. Initially I went to college planning to become a PE teacher, but, after hurting my knee, changed my major, first to KGP, and finally to Psych, graduating with a BA. After working in the Mental "Health" field for a few years I decided it was NOT so healthy, so I tried teaching GED and ABE for the Chicago City Colleges and started a Master's program in Early Childhood Special Ed. Well, along came our children. My husband, David, and I moved out to CA and I stayed home with our son and daughter whille they were young. While I did this I ran a daycare home for five years. Then I worked with disabled children for the local county schools and later with developmentally disabled adullts, also doing home respite here and there.
