About Me This picture was made abt. 1995. I was 46, and we were at Crystal River Campground in our RV. The reflection in the mirror has changed a bit since this picture was made, but the spirit inside me remains the same, and that's more important after all. My ideology consists of being a compassionate person. Don't judge others until you can walk a mile in their shoes. Life isn't easy! So many of us don't have an easy, successful, lucky life, but if you do, don't condemn those less fortunate. You deal with whatever you are dished out, making decisions the best you can with the means you have at the time. I have made both good and bad decisions, but I think that I've learned from the experience. I have had some horrific challenges in my life, having to deal with lots of loss and rejection. I've not found my true love, although I wanted it so much, that I tried three times without success. I've not given up, however, and someday hope that I find someone out there to grow old, I mean older, with. I've had had some health issues that, although not life threatening, have still impacted my lifestyle immensely. It has slowed me down, changing my activities of youth, but not knocking me out completely. I may need more rest and can't dance like I used to, but maybe that's not been to my detriment at all, but rather to put me on the right path of destiny. After all, I had to get ill before I went back to school, making something good out of the down time and worst time of my life. I'm not as pretty as I used to be, I wear glasses, and I've gained weight. But I have a good, compassionate heart and caring nature. I believe in a higher power of life, and the teachings of Jesus, but I'm not bogged down in any one religion. I am spiritual with an open mind to all possibilities. I believe that all persons are created equal, and that all people should have a chance to be the best they can be. I don't like hate radio and reject all forms of "my way or the highway," philosophy. I have friends from all aspects of the political spectrum, so I don't dislike someone just because our political views may be different. I feel we can all learn from each other, if we respect our differences, not hate each other for it. I want people to like me, and if you are one of my old friends, you know this to be true. I have always been a free-spirited soul, adventuresome, and down-to-earth, with a pleasant and somewhat witty personality. The "me" inside is still there, although a little worn on the edges, I can still see the person of youth within its outer core. I am a loyal friend and steadfast believer in finding something good in everyone. So, do not judge me for my outward appearance, but look deeper into my soul. I've had a challenging life, but also an interesting one. Some of that may show in my looks, but I am sound and true. I can talk about most any subject, and I have a creative nature. I'm not technical, but I will try to learn, if I'm interested. I love simple things in life like a beautiful sunset and a gentle spring rain. I love family and friends, taking them as I find them, and honored to have them in my life. I love my little dog Cricket, laughing at her antics of collecting socks, and burying dog bones on my 92 year old mother as she nods on the couch. So, if you want to be friends, I value your reply, if you don't, I wish you well in all your pursuits. I'd like to add that my little Cricket got heart disease and I had to let her go January 18. 2013. It broke my heart! My niece, Tiffanie, found a little Chihuahua that needed rescue in February on the Net. He was a Chihuahua to with the same Black and Tan coloring. He was seven years old, skin and bones, always lived in a cage at a hoarders house. I immediately went an adopted him. His name is Tiny Tim, TT, and he is now fully recovered his weight, very loved, and happy. Before Xmas 2014, I adopted another senior Chihuahua and I named her Nugget. They are my fur babies and I love them very much! Down-to-earth, sensitive, easy...(read more)
