Cherished son of the late John and late Sofia, nee Kapaklis; son-in-law of the late Wally Olson. Fond brother of Bill; brother-in-law of Gay (Joe) Appelhans and Sue (Ken) Bailey. Dear uncle of Kyle, Matt, Josh (Tracey) and Adam (Jill). Dearest nephew of Chris (Angela) Politis and survived by many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends here, and in Greece. Visitation Friday, September 1, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., at COLONIAL-WOJCIECHOWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 8025 W. Golf Rd., Niles. Funeral Saturday, September 2, relatives and friends are asked to meet at St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church, 7373 N. Caldwell, Niles, for 10:00 a.m. Funeral Service.
