About Me	After my Lincoln days, I traveled to Southern California for college at UCLA where I majored in Communication Studies and minored in Spanish Literature (I also had the opportunity to study in Spain during college). Upon graduating in 2002, I lived in Australia for a few months and then returned to San Jose and worked at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) in San Jose with the Team In Training program (Lincoln Lions, Beatriz Castillo and Stella Medina completed their first marathons with Team In Training in March 2005). While working with LLS, I was attending graduate school at SJSU at night. Then, in August 2005, I got married to a fellow San Jose resident, Nick and graduated from SJSU in 2006.
