Judith M. Swartz, age 81 of Beach Park, IL, passed away on March 19, 2018 at The Terrace Nursing Home in Waukegan, IL
She was born on January 12, 1937 in Aberdeen, SD, the daughter of the late Douglas and Sadie Daniels Morris. She attended Zion Benton High School and on January 30, 1955 she married John Swartz in Beach Park, IL. Judith was treasurer of the family business, Lake County Cycles, Ltd. She enjoyed spending time with her family, vacationing on her house boat on the Mississippi River and cabin in Minocqua. She also enjoyed traveling all over the country with John, attending motorcycle races and rallies.
Surviving Judith is her husband John of 63 years; one daughter Laura (Rodney) Lacanne of Beach Park, IL; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; step-grandchildren; two brothers Tennes Morris and Jack (Marge) Morris. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Judith was preceded in death by her two sons Jeffrey and Kendall Swartz; one brother and three sisters.
